About the Role

Jasper is looking for an experienced Customer Marketing professional to own Jasper’s customer expansion and advocacy programs. This is our first Customer Marketing role, and will be a non-managing position reporting into the Head of Enterprise Marketing. In this role, you’ll own the strategy and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives, ranging from first click to retention and renewal initiatives, with a focus on instilling loyalty within our ever-growing customer base. You’ll partner closely with the product and CS teams as well as our heads of acquisition, product marketing, sales, customer success and creative to pull off remarkable campaigns and drive advocacy and expansion.

Our target market is composed of content creators and marketing leaders at growing companies. We help companies leverage artificial intelligence to accelerate content production and unlock their best ideas. We see AI as a partner to content marketers that can help them break through writer’s block, create fine-tuned imagery, and repackage content for different formats, languages and tones. 

The role is open to candidates located in the US and can be remote within the United States. We have offices in Austin, TX and Salt Lake City, UT with employees based across the US and Australia. We've built a strong foundation to support remote employee engagement with other teams. We have a mix of experience levels and backgrounds, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing, mentoring and career growth. 

What you will do at Jasper:

  • Develop Jasper's customer lifecycle stages and create strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, which include onboarding, engagement and retention.
  • Drive free user and paying customer upgrades and team expansion through behavior-driven campaigns that leverage email, conversational and in-app messaging. 
  • Identify, track and report on key metrics (upsell, churn, etc.) for lifecycle programs; use insights from those  metrics to rapidly test and optimize your program for better results.
  • Conceptualize and launch a customer advocacy program and customer community designed to identify and mobilize customers, transforming them into Jasper brand ambassadors.
  • Forge relationships with evangelists and build out case studies, testimonials and quotes, acting as a content source for Jasper.
  • Partner with customer success and account managers to leverage customer interaction touch points and infuse personal, one-to-one programs.
  • Participate in Jasper sponsored trade shows, seminars, workshops and events and build face-to-face loyalty and relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Requires travel roughly 3-4 times per year.

What you will bring:

  • 3-5+ years of direct customer marketing experience, with a proven track record of running expansion and advocacy for Product Led Growth (PLG) or SaaS companies
  • Specific experience in customer marketing for a SaaS company, driving upgrades or cross-product adoption.
  • A history of not just working cross-functionally but organizing and leading cross functional project teams toward a common goal. 
  • Great project management skills including strong communication around project timelines, responsible individuals, and status. 
  • Experience working with both paid and freemium models in highly desired.

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range at offer for this role is $132,000- $155,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies and certifications.
